Duvaxyn® EHV-1,4 is an inactivated herpes virus vaccine for horses.
Advantages of using Duvaxyn® EHV-1,4?
Vaccination with Duvaxyn® EHV-1,4 reduces the severity of clinical signs of respiratory diseases caused by Equine herpes virus 1 (EHV-1) and EHV-4.
Duvaxyn® EHV-1,4 also aids in the control of EHV-1 abortion when used in conjunction with appropriate management practices.*
Usage
Vaccination against respiratory disease
- First dose: From 5 months of age (or from 3 months of age if high risk of infection)
- Second dose: 4 to 6 weeks after first dose
- Booster: every 6 months
Vaccination to help control against abortion* (in pregnant mares that have already received primary course)
- Booster: During 5th, 7th and 9th months of pregnancy
*Pregnant mares vaccinated with this product may still abort.
